Dance Studio Policy and Terms of Condition

1. General Information

Welcome to our dance studio! We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels. 

This document outlines our policies and terms of condition regarding classes, attendance, payments, attire, hygiene, and additional services.

2. Class Requirements

2.1 Class Attire

Students are required to wear the official Javiolo T-shirt during classes.Appropriate dance attire and shoes must also be worn as specified for each dance style.

2.2 Payment Policy

Tuition fees are due by the 10th of each month.Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or electronic bank transfer.

2.3 Practice at Home

Regular practice at home is encouraged to enhance skills and progress in dance.

2.4 Communication Channels

Students and parents are required to join our private Facebook group and follow our Classes page for updates and announcements.Stay informed by subscribing to our blog for the latest information and special deals delivered to your email.

2.5 Referral and Review Incentives

Spread the word about our studio to your friends and receive a referral discount on your next month's tuition after they enroll.Write an online review and receive a $10 credit towards your following monthly fee.

3. Pricing and Services Offered

3.1 Tuition Fees

Pricing varies by class type and duration. Please refer to our website or contact the studio for current tuition rates.Special services such as private lessons, workshops, and master classes are available at additional costs and are not included in the regular tuition.

4. Hygiene and Etiquette

4.1 Hygiene

Students must come to class clean and with proper hygiene maintained.Use of deodorant and body spray is encouraged for the comfort of all participants.

4.2 Etiquette

Respectful behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow students is expected at all times.Cell phones should be turned off or silenced during class to minimize distractions.

5. Recital Preparation

5.1 Attendance During Recital Preparation

Regular attendance is mandatory during recital preparation periods to ensure all students are adequately prepared.Make-up classes will not be offered during this intensive period.

5.2 Credit for Missed Classes 

Inform the studio in advance about any anticipated absences during recital preparation to receive credits towards the next season or the following monthly fee.

Additional Policy Details 

Section 1 Withdraw and cancel services,

•  Attendance Missed classes: It is the student’s/parents/guardians responsibility to make up any missed classes AND inform the instructor or forfeit the classes. No refunds. No credit to the account unless approved by the Artistic Director. Please CONTACT us to inform us of your absence. Late for class: The student/parent/guardian is responsible for informing Javiolo of any tardiness. Please CONTACT US via text 386227625 to inform us of your tardiness. Performance rehearsals: If four (4) rehearsals are missed, the student will not be allowed to participate in the performance. For extenuating circumstances, please contact the artistic director, Javier Garcia Bustos. New students are allowed to take one (1) free trial class before registration as long as the liability release is signed.must be done with a previous timely of 12 hours. No refund will be given for the month in which the withdrawal occurs; therefore, it is highly recommended to withdraw at the end of the month in order to receive full benefit from the monthly payment. Extenuating circumstances should be discussed with 

Section 2 Release of Liability & Medical 

• Javiolo LLC will not be held liable for any injuries or property damage. The enrolled participant and/or the parent/guardian recognize and understand  that dance/fitness training/ physical theater/technical production is a potentially hazardous activity and that there are risks inherent in the aforementioned activities, including but not limited to serious physical injury. I/we hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes, its instructors, officers, directors, agents, and employees against any liability resulting from any injury that may occur to the participant while participating in activities of Javiolo. The participant and/or parent/guardian agree to indemnify Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes for any damages incurred arising from any claims, demand, action, or course of action by the participant. I/we authorize any representative of Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes LLC to seek medical treatment for the participant if needed during his/her participation in activities of Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes. I/we agree to pay all costs associated with medical care and transportation for the participant. 
• Any special medical/health problems, i.e. allergies, physical/mental/emotional restrictions, injury history, learning differences/special needs, and/or medical emergency information (EpiPen or inhalers), that staff should be aware of must be listed on the registration form in the medical information section. We cannot serve your student(s) the best way possible if we don’t know their special medical/health/ learning needs..

Section 3 Disclaimer & Consent. 

• All dance instructors at Javiolo Hip Hop Dance instructor use a “hands-on” approach teaching method. In order to facilitate the student’s learning, the teacher may occasionally physically guide a movement or correct body placement by touch. This will be in a professional manner and the intention of the contact will be made clear. The participant and/or parent/guardian understand this approach is a helpful teaching/learning tool and gives consent to the use of it by the teachers during the participant’s lessons and rehearsals.
• If Covid-19 restrictions are enforced by our Governor, then:
• - Teachers will remain at least 6 ft from the students with a face mask on at all times and will not be “hands-on”, but will use verbal cues. 
• - Students will be required to wear a face mask at all times other than drinking or eating. 
• - Studios will be disinfected between each class and deep cleaned every night. - Depending on studio closure, we will move classes online and find ways to keep the learning process going within the confines of the Governor’s announcements. 
• I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and will take the proper precautions in order to keep my dance family safe and healthy. I further acknowledge that I voluntarily seek services provided by Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes.
• LLC and they can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19.

• I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others. 
• I attest that I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting with Ormond Ballet am/are not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. 
• I attest that I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting with Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days. 
• I attest that I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting with Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days. 
• I attest that I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting with Ormond Ballet do not believe that I/they have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 within the last 14 days. I attest that I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting at the studio have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities. 
• I attest that if I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member interacting with Javiolo Hip Hop Dance Classes have been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19, I, my student(s)/child or children, or any family member has been quarantining for at least 7 days, has fully recovered, has been cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities, and has received a negative Coronavirus/Covid-19 test result.
• Illness & Injury Students who are ill (infectious) should not come to class and will be sent home if they attend. Please be mindful in the season we are living in with Covid-19 and do not send your student to the studio if there is any reason to believe they are not feeling well. Injured dancers are encouraged to observe class in order to remain familiar with the curriculum. Students will be asked to write their observations of that class and will give it to the instructor after class.

Section 4 Photograph, Likeness, Video, Disc, Online, & Social Media Release 

• The enrolled participant and/or the parent/guardian author Javiolo Hip hop dance classes and/or its representatives, agents, or employees to photograph and/or video record and use any photograph/likeness of the participant for publicity, choreographic archives, and promotional materials, both online and printed.

• Javiolo is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment based on race, age, creed, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

• Any unlike behavior, forbidding unlawful behavior, hate speech, bullying, promotions, spam, etc.Javiolo will take legal action as described previously will end it up with Disabling user accounts.
