Mandatory Monthly Workshops (Competition Teams)
To keep our Competition Teams growing with real industry standards, we will host mandatory monthly workshopsfor both Legacy + Bling Bling Crew.
Purpose (why this is required)
- We are bringing in professional dancers/choreographers from the industry to teach two hip-hop styles that are outside our regular scope.
- These workshops give dancers:
- New flava and movement vocabulary
- Stronger versatility and performance quality
- Exposure to mainstream industry expectations
- Real connections and mentorship opportunities
Attendance (mandatory)
- All competition team dancers are required to attend.
- These workshops are part of the competition commitment and team standards.
Cost
- Workshop fee is $5 per dancer (per workshop). This is intentionally kept low; guest instructor rates are not cheap.
Billing + use of funds
- The $5 workshop fee will be billed as an add-on (separate from tuition).
- The purpose of this fee is to cover the guest instructor rate.
If full team attendance covers the instructor cost and there is any remaining balance, it will be reserved and may be applied toward team funding (competition-related support

Absence Policy
Strict enforcement
- Absences will be reprimanded.
- After 2 missed practices or workshops, the team member will be removed from the season.
- In case of conflict or unavoidable absence, dancers/parents must communicate in advance with me or another team member.
- Communicating an absence the day of or after the practice/workshop will be considered a dismissal.
- A second such dismissal will result in immediate removal from the team for the season.
Scheduling
- Workshops will be announced monthly with the date/time and guest instructor details.
- Please plan ahead: attendance is expected unless excused by the studio in advance.
